The Correct Mobil Fluid for Your Transfer Case.
A transfer case distributes power between the front and rear axles in four-wheel-drive and many all-wheel-drive vehicles. Because transfer-case designs differ, some require automatic transmission fluid while others require gear oil.
We use the Mobil ATF or Mobil gear oil specified for your vehicle. Fresh, properly matched fluid helps lubricate internal components and protect against heat, wear, oxidation, corrosion, and fluid breakdown.
